I was just thinking about my cat. So here are a bunch of my tweets about my cat. And other cats.

I feel bad that I wasn’t able to afford to send my cat to college.

Saw a Lost Cat poster with unnecessary quotation marks and a spelling error and thought, “That cat could do better.”

I’m late for something because I saw a cat on the sidewalk and had to spend a few minutes reminding it not to go in the street.

When I’m gone, my cat sits in the window and waits for me to come home. When I’m home, my cat sits in my lap and waits for me to die.

If that guy really loved his cat, he would’ve built him a helicopter to ride around in while he was still alive.

My cat always sits outside my bedroom door and meows until I get up. Not because he wants food. He just likes to tell me about his dream.

I know he sleeps most of the day, but I still think I’d feel less guilty about having a job if I could teach my cat to read.

My cat’s Lincoln & I’m Booth. He’s enjoying the theater. I put lead in his brain & admire how cute he is in beard and little hat!

It’s icy outside. Might stay in and spend the day teaching my cat the differences between the black and death metal guitar styles.

“I like irrational people very much. That’s why I write about them so often. I think almost every character in HAPPY ROCK is convinced of something irrational. And, really, so am I. I’m convinced, at least on some level, that if I write something, maybe somebody will want to read it, and maybe that will connect me to people in some way. I’m convinced, at least on some level, that in the huge glut of consumable media in the world, my voice is missing, and I should do something to remedy that situation. And sometimes it seems to me that the greatest trick I am able to pull off is the one where I convince someone else that I’m right—that what I have to say is worthy of someone else’s resources or headspace.”
